I qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 1990. I am registered with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC). I am also a member of the European Society for Trauma and Dissociation (ESTD) and the British Psychological Society (BPS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have undertaken further training in a number of therapeutic modalities including psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, compassion focussed therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprogramming (EMDR). I am trained in complex trauma stabilisation and have extensive experience of assessing and working therapeutically with dissociative conditions. I separately offer specialist diagnostic assessment for Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), in another setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have worked in community mental health services for 30 years, including providing clinical leadership within NHS adult mental health services for 13 years. I have broad experience of providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples and groups. I also have wide experience of providing teaching and clinical supervision to psychologists and other multidisciplinary mental health staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have provided psychological support and debriefing for NHS staff, both directly and in a leadership role. I have worked extensively with people experiencing combined physical and mental health challenges.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
